Arnold Schwarzenegger has returned in this sequel to the box office hit "The Terminator."  Skynet sent a machine back in time to kill Sarah Connor before she could give birth to John Connor.  Now, John Connor is a teenager and Skynet has a new target.  This time they have sent a new machine back in time known as the T1000, played by Robert Patrick.  It is faster, deadlier, and is made of liquid metal, which means it can take the form of many weapons.  Like before, the humans have sent a protector for John, only this time it's the same kind of machine that tried to kill his mother years before.  Arnold Schwarznegger is the T-800 model and its mission is to protect John, and if it fails, the future fails.  There is no fate but what we make for ourselves. This is one sequel that is far better then the original.  The movie is about an hour longer then the first one and we get Arnold as the good guy like we are used to seeing him as in his other movies.  This was the original plot line for the first one, but since they couldn't afford a movie like ...

This is the film DVD was made for, and this film did receive the Ultimate DVD treatment.  Watching all 3 versions of this film keeps you entertained for hours, plus the extras really add to the hours of enjoyment for this DVD.   The picture quality is perfect and the surround sound couldn't be better.  For every DVD collector, if they don't already own this, then they should get it right away.   It's one of my favorite DVD's I own.  I give it 10 out of 10 stars.
