So just what goes on in the mind of a bulimic stripper turned prostitute when she is down and out? Well the answers to that question and so much more are revealed in Slaughtered Vomit Dolls. Angela Aberdeen is the aforementioned prostitute that is constantly passing between her reality and her dreams. In these dreams we are introduced to the Slaughtered Vomit Dolls which are manifestations of the ongoing struggles in Angela’s mind. These dolls are executed throughout the film as Angela sinks further and further into darkness. Early on Angela makes a pact with the devil for her soul and from that point she begins her descent into these nightmares. Where will these hallucinogenic bouts take her and what will become of her fleeting existence?
Slaughtered Vomit Dolls is written and directed by Lucifer Valentine. While this may be his first film(at least that I have heard of), you wouldn’t know from watching it. Valentine captures the constant pushing and pulling going on in Angela’s mind. Scenes of coherent reality(mostly from her childhood) are immediately followed with chaotic terror that further creates the frenzied environment of the film.
