Either I’m getting way too smart for my own good, or Hollywood is getting way too dumb for their own sakes… or should I say snakes? Python may be the dumbest creature feature since the genre was launched back in the early 20th century – films that date back to the Universal black-and-white classic Creature from the Black Lagoon and the initial rendition of The Blob, and just like those films, Python is expectedly cheesy, but surprisingly enjoyable. (Please note that I am NOT saying that The Blob and Creature from the Black Lagoon are dumb, and please take notice that I am not comparing Python to those films). Python manipulates everything that has become routine in these types of monster movies and twists it into something fresh and new. It has numerous flaws, and much of the story doesn’t make any sense. Heck, almost all of it seems like a pure waste of an audience’s aptitude, but not their time. Decapitron, the new head-swapping leader of Toulon's puppets is the newest puppet who has the soul of Toulon.  This time the puppets have a new Puppet Master and they are fighting for good.  Now they are fighting these new creatures and are helping out Puppet Master Rick. By this time in the series I was expecting another one like the previous films.  But I was pleasently surprised.  This time the puppets are controlled by Puppet Master Rick, and they are used for good instead of evil.  This one isn't scary at all.   Infact this one is practically a movie a little kid could watch.  This one is more of a fun one to watch more then anything.  One of my favorite scenes in this one, and in any of the Puppet Master movies is when Puppet Master Rick is playing some sort of laser tag with the puppets.  I just found that hilarious and found the rest of the film fun to watch.  This time the evil is these Totems who are sent to Earth in hopes to try and steal the Puppet Master's power.  When the Rick and the Puppet's realize that the Totems are too much to handle by ...

After hearing that Andre Toulon's puppets have no strings but rather seem to have a life of their own, Dr. Hess, a Gestapo henchman during World War II, sends the Gestapo to the theater to kidnap them.  Toulon's wife, Elsa, is killed and Toulon is taken away by the Nazis.  However, on the way to headquarters the puppets attack the Gestapo and escape with Toulon.  Now Toulon begins to plan his revenge.   He creates a new puppet, Six-Shooter.  Now Toulon's army is ready for revenge. The first one wasn't that bad.  The second one I will probably have to watch again because I wasn't too impressed with it.  But this one was much more interesting then the first two.  The movie starts out a bit slow like the first two, but quickly picks up.  This time we are introduced to Six-Shooter.  The one thing I didn't like about this puppet is his laugh.  For some reason I found it annoying.  One thing I liked the best about this movie is that that Nazi dude gets what he deserved at the end.   Probably the best death scene in the movie.  But overall, this wasn't a bad sequel.  I found myself really starting ...

Those puppets are back again and this time they have a new member.  The new member is Torch.  He has the ability to shoot fire out of his hand.  Together the puppets bring Andre Toulon back to life and they go again on another killing spree. Well, the first one wasn't that bad.  I really wasn't a fan of the series and I'm trying to watch them back to back.  Well this one wasn't exactly that great.  It had its moments though.  I thought the Puppets were much more violent.  With them bringing back to life their Puppet Master, Andre Toulon, there is more mayhem going on.  Also this time we are introduced to a new puppet, Torch who shoots out flames from his hand.  This is one puppet that I can actually say may hurt someone.  As for the others, they are just dolls.  The people should just step on them.  The movie starts off kind of slow, but quickly picks up.  But the thing I didn't like about this one is the ending.  For some reason it turned me away from the movie and made me less interested in seeing part 3.  But what can you expect from a ...
