Six college students are preparing for their final exam in their art class.  For their final exam, they are each given a part of a mannequin.  With their part, they have to give it a design.  They have one week to complete this design, and then they will place them all together and see what they end up with.  After they put him together, they decide to burn him, and as a result Jigsaw returns from the ashes and wants to create a jigsaw of his own, using them for parts. The movie opens with a girl laying on a table, it soon changes to a classroom.  In this classroom, a teacher gives six students a piece of a mannequin, and they are to design it.  A week later, the six students meet at a bar, they get really drunk and tell everyone why they designed the part the way they did.  Afterwards, the decide to burn the Jigsaw.  Once they do this, Jigsaw returns and goes after them one by one.
