A family's Thanksgiving dinner is totally ruined when a homicidal maniac arrives and starts carving up the household. I still haven't figured out if they were trying to make a serious horror film or a horror-comedy.  If they were trying to make a serious horror film, then they failed miserably.  If they were trying to make a good horror-comedy then they did a wonderful job.  Even though there aren't any jokes in this movie to make it a horror-comedy, the characters make it on.  First off, the killer, he was a big guy with curly hair.  When he killed someone he had the dumbest face on.  His laugh was so funny you'll be laughing.  One of my favorite scenes is when he runs down that old woman crossing the street, the expression on his face was absolutely hilarious.   Then the second funny thing was that boy with the face paint on.  He looked so stupid in that stuff.  But these things did make the movie a lot more enjoyable.   It's worth a viewing.  I give it a 5 out of 10.

A group of teenagers just graduated high school and to celebrate they are throwing themselves an all night party in a furniture store.   No one knows they are there and they are planning on having a good time.  One of them suggests that they play a game of hide and go seek.  Well once they get the game started they realize that there is an extra player in the game.  And as the numbers of the players start to fall, they realize they must become the seeker and find out what is going on, instead of hiding and meeting a horrible fate by the hands of a madman. The movie opens by showing us the inside of a room.   The room is completely dark.  A moment later we witness a man in the room sitting in front of a mirror.  The man is putting make-up on.  Soon the man gets in his car and goes in search for a victim.  He meets a hooker on the street and takes her into an alley and there he kills her.  Later we meet the eight teenagers who are planning on spending the night in the furniture store, a store owned by the father ...

he residents of Thorsby Alabama are discovering that it's a matter of life and death as hordes of the undead have risen from their graves, flying saucers are abducting the residents, and Chuck has to deal with people renting all of his zombie movies at his video store, so they can find out how to survive the zombie apocalypse. It's just another day at Chuck's video store with crazy customers calling in requesting zombie movies, which leads him into an argument as to whether or not The Evil Dead is a zombie movie.  Soon, Chuck is attacked by a zombie, whom he thinks is just a homeless guy.  He knocks the zombie in the head with a VCR with Night of the Living Dead inside, and drags the corpse to the police station.  Afterwards, he leaves the corpse at the station and goes to get some breakfast, where he has to enlighten the cashier that Coke is better than Pepsi.  Eventually, Chuck finds himself trapped with other Thorsby residents as legions of the undead are surrounding the town. A man's wife dies in a car accident and he begins to suffer from amnesia about the accident and all the events that happened around it.  The police begin to interrogate him and try to find out what happened to his wife because his wife's body is missing from the accident.  Soon the police are beginning to think that Trevor has something to do with his wife's, Kirsty's, disappearance and the only place where Trevor can get his answers is in Hell. The movie opens with Trevor and Kirsty driving in a car.  They are talking and they eventually go off the road and land in the water.  Trevor manages to get free but Kirsty can't and she is killed in the water.  Soon we see Trevor in the hospital where he is now suffering from amnesia.  The next scene we get this really weird scene that really has nothing to do with the movie where the doctors are doing surgery on Trevor's brain.  Maybe I just missed something.  Soon the police start trying to figure out who killed Kirsty and they start to blame Trevor and it's up to Trevor to try and figure out what exactly happened. A spine-tingling thriller, Hellraiser: Inferno is the next inescapably terrifying chapter in the heart-stopping Hellraiser series!  It's the powerful story of a shady L.A. detective who finds himself lost in a darkly nightmarish world of evil when he solves the mysterious puzzle box that released the diabolical demon, Pinhead!  As those around him begin to meet tragic fates, he sets out to conquer the horrifying Pinhead and escape eternal hell! This is one Hellraiser film that people either love or they hate.  I have heard no in between reviews.  Well I loved this movie.  I thought it was one of the best, if not, the best Hellraiser film.  Though it's more of a crime drama than anything, it's still a fun movie to watch and the ending is just amazing.  Though reading a review on this film really won't tell you if you are going to like it or not.  You will have to check it out for yourself.  And if you are in it just to see Pinhead, then you will be disappointed.  This is a straight-to-video masterpiece.  I give it 8 out of 10.

Pinhead is back in the fourth terrifying chapter of the wildly popular Hellraiser series!  Spanning three generations, this horrifying story chronicles the struggle of one family who unknowingly created the puzzle box that opened the doors of Hell - setting the diabolical Pinhead free to spread evil here on earth!  Now, the family must fight to slam those doors shut again...but not before Pinhead wages one of his fiercest and most frightening battles ever! This is probably the worst sequel in the Hellraiser series.  But I still found it to be interesting.  The first time I saw it, I wasn't very pleased with it, but on the second viewing I found that it wasn't that bad.  Though this isn't your average Hellraiser, this is really just one big slashfest on the Space Station Minos.   Though, that's really just the final 30 minutes of the film.  The first hour we are watching the movie happen in the past.  If you are looking for a sequel like the original movie, this one isn't for you.  But if you are looking like a sequel like part 3, this one is perfect.  I give it 6 out of 10.

A nightclub owner buys a 6ft. tall sculpture called "The Pilar of Souls" with the face of Pinhead on it, demonically frozen in time and space.  When blood accedently drops onto the Pilar, Pinhead is released.  Now, he and his Cenobite are free to roam the earth in a rampage of death and distruction.  All that stands in his way is a TV reporter who has the secret to send Pinhead to hell forever. Even though most people said this is where the Hellraiser series took a downfall, I found this one to be very good.  Even though it is nothing like the first two, it is still interesting to watch.  And the ending just left me wanting more. It was one of the best in the series in my opinion.   I give it 7 out of 10.
