It's the biggest party of the year, and a group of friends have missed their boat.  They convince a fishing boat captain to take them to the island, but once they arrive they discover that the island has been deserted.  After discovering that the island has been inhabited by an army of zombies, they team up with the remaining survivors in an attempt to survive the night. Los Angeles homcide detective, Vernan Coyle, is investigating a series of murders who has left no clues.  They call the murdererthe "Midnight Rapter."   He has no clues as to what is happening until his girlfriend turns into a werewolf.   This mini series gives you the three most legendary monsters: Vampires, Werewolfs, and Frankenstein's monster.  This film doesn't bring you the ones that are protrayed in the early 30's and 40's.  This film shows us the real ones.  Frankenstein's monster from from Mary Shelley's novel, and the vampires and werewolves from old folklore.   We see still that the Frankenstein monster isn't a monster like the old movies, but just misguided like in Mary Shelley's novel.  The vampires are practically running the town with the werewolves serving them.  The head vampire, Crispian Grimes, is in search for the Frankenstein monster in hopes to get him on their side.  It is now up to Vernon Coyle to stop them from doing so and changing Grace back into a human. It is October 30, 1977 and two couples are on a road trip for their book.  They soon run out of gas and have to go to a place called Captain Spaulding's Museum of Monsters and Madmen.  There they get gas and meet the crazy Captain Spaulding.  He takes them on a theme park ride, called the murder ride, where he tells them the story of Dr. Satan.  After the ride is over, they decide to try and find the tree where Dr. Satan was hung, so they get Captain Spaulding to write them a map to where it was.  Soon they pick up a hitchhiker since it's pouring down rain.  While they are driving her to her home, their car breaks down and they are forced to stay at her place for the night.  Little do they know that her family is planning a huge Halloween party, where these two couples are the guests of honor. Another Lucio Fulci gore flick.  I really enjoyed this film as I do with other Fulci films.  It starts out with this girl getting a knife in the back of her head and out her mouth.  After that it starts to get a bit slow, and nothing really interesting happens until a lady gets her foot stuck in a crack in the floor.  One thing that I found annoying about this film is the horrible dubbing.  The little boy is dubbed by some old woman and it gets annoying really fast.  Another thing I noticed is that if they did a Chucky look-a-like contest, that little boy would win it hands down.  Just slap some red hair on that boy and you'd never be able to tell the difference.   Another ...

Jessie and Charlie dig up Jessie's Great Great Grandfather in search for a skull that keeps people alive forever.  Sure enough when they dig him up they see the skull and discover Gramps still alive.  Gramps gets out of the grave and joins Jessie and Charlie on a wild and exciting adventure trying to keep everyone away from the skull.   Mainly wanting to keep Gramps's partner away from the skull.  During this time they discover there is a portal in their upstairs bedroom that takes them to other dimensions. I had never seen this movie before I bought the original House on DVD.  For the first 20,000 copies sold it also included House 2.  I am glad that they included it because this one is just as good as the original.  It's a totally different story, different characters, different house, different everything.  This time instead of a horror/comedy we get a horror/comedy/adventure story.  It is still very amusing and has some suspenseful parts.  And seeing Gramps, a 170 year old zombie, is one of the highlights of the film.  He is a very amusing character.  My favorite scene was when he gets drunk with Charlie.  But anyways, if you liked the ...
