About ten years ago, Mr. Aoyama lost his wife to illness. Now, after suffering through depression for years, he is finally attempting to find a new life partner. The only problem is that he’s been out of the game for so long, that he really doesn’t know what to do. Because of this, Aoyama decides to enlist the help of his best friend, who coincidentally happens to be his business partner in the film industry. This is when the idea to audition various women for the leading role in a movie about a man trying to find love, comes into place. Not only will the winner be the star of a movie, but she will also end up being Aoyama’s wife. The only problem is that the lady Aoyama decides to pursue may not be the person she says she is. I had heard many good things about this film, so when I saw it at a local video store, I decided that it’d probably be a good idea to rent it, in order to see what all the fuss was about.
