Firstly when i saw the movie poster,i was very impressive but after i watched the movie,i said “is this horror movie?” absolutely not! at first ,a girl’s cell phone was calling and than she opened the cell phone and she saw the one missed call text on the phone screen than she listened the her dieing screem.every actor died same style.again again again….so boring so awful so stupid writing.one missed call imdb rating 3.3/10 , i think 3.3 rating so much for this movie.my rate : 0

Lucio Fulci has never turned me down when it came to watching one of his zombie movies.  My first Fulci film to see was The Beyond.   Since then I discovered his other films such as City of the Living Dead (a.k.a. Gates of Hell), and House by the Cemetery.  I never did get the chance to see his first zombie film titled Zombie because I have been waiting for the DVD.  Well, now that Anchor Bay has rereleased the DVD was it worth the wait?  It absolutely was!   Though I didn’t find this film to be as gory as City of the Living Dead was, it had some nicely done gore scenes.  There is a scene where this girl gets a splinter stabbed in her eye, there is scenes where zombies eat a dead body, they tear people’s necks open, this is a gorefest.  Though I would have liked it a lot more if the zombies started to show up a little earlier, and there would have been more scenes of them, but I still loved this film.  I eagerly awaited to see the scene where the zombie fights a shark.  Well, I finally got to see that scene, and it’s quite early in the film.  The Beyond still remains my favorite Lucio Fulci film, but I think that with repeated viewings this one could compete with The Beyond for that.  Still, this film is a prime example of why Lucio Fulci is the king of gore and Italian zombie films.   I highly recommend this to all Fulci fans, and to anyone who is just getting started in Fulci’s work.  I give this movie an 8 out of 10.

Two campers are rock climbing deep in the woods.  When the boyfriend makes it to the top first, he is soon brutally murdered.  As his girlfriend tries to escape, she too is murdered.  It has been a little over a week, and Chris Finn is scheduled to be at a business meeting in a few hours, he thinks everything is going to go smoothly.  That is until he finds himself stuck in traffic where chemicals have spilled all over the road.  He decides to turn around and takes a back road.  When the road splits off into two directions, he decides to go left and when he turns his head he smashes into another car.  He gets out and meets five people going camping who had their tires caught in barb-wire.  When Jessie discovers that the barb-wire was wrapped around a tree, they realize that someone did this on purpose.  Chris, Jessie, and two others decide to go looking for some place that has a phone while two others remain at the car.  As Chris, Jessie, Carly, and Scott make their way through the woods, the two friends they left behind are brutally murdered.  The four people soon find a cabin deep in the woods, and as they search around it, they discover body parts of humans.  They try and leave, but it’s too late as the madmen of the house return home.  Scott and Carly hide in the bathroom while Jessie and Chris hide underneath the bed.  They soon witness as the corpses of the two people they left behind are cut apart.  As the madmen fall asleep, the four people decide to make their escape, but things won’t go as smoothly as planned because one of the madmen catches them leaving, and now it’s a race for survival as these deranged mountain men chase them down one by one.

This film really didn’t get much advertising, and I really think that worked out for the better.  It left us with more to imagine before we could enter the theater and see this movie.  When the film finally starts, we get to see the real reason that this film wasn’t heavily advertised.  Wrong Turn features intense scenes and brutal killings.  These aren’t the Final Destination style killings, they are killings with suspense building them up and ending with a quite gory dismiss.  This movie gets started right at the beginning of the film with two rock climbers being murdered, and it doesn’t ease up.  Within a few minutes later, the car wreck takes place between Chris and the four people.  After that it’s non-stop running from the killers with some brutal murders.  I loved the scene in the trees!  That was a very well made scene!  If you’re a fan of horror films, you will definitely want to see Wrong Turn.  This movie reminded me of such films as Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Madman, and Jeepers Creepers.  Overall, Wrong Turn is a slasher film that delivers!  I was hoping Identity would have made a good slasher, instead Wrong Turn does the job!  I highly recommend you check out Wrong Turn!  I give it a 10 out of 10.

I viewed this film with horrible picture quality.   I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to see much of it because of how bad it was.   Soon near the end of the opening credits the picture quality got somewhat better, it was still far from perfect, but it was somewhat better.  What do I think about this prequel to Evil Dead?  Well, I loved it!  It was much like The Evil Dead, except Bruce Campbell plays the main zombie.  It is only around 30 minutes long and it has some really nice gore.  There were some scenes that we would all see in his later films in the series.  We get the knife in the back scene and he wonderful hand-eating scene.  With Anchor Bay releasing their new Evil Dead DVD, there was hopes of getting this on there, and I sure would have loved to have had it with that new DVD.  Seeing a better quality version of this film would have been really nice.   Oh well, seeing it is the main thing I guess.  Finding this film is rather difficult.  You could probably try places like ebay, or you could try and download it off of the Internet.  But the picture quality isn’t near as good as it would have been if we were able to get it on DVD.  Hopefully Anchor Bay will be able to get the rights to this film and maybe give us a little DVD with this film.  It’s a really good movie, and all the Evil Dead fans will love it.  Try to find you a copy of this film, you won’t regret it.  I give it an 8 out of 10.
